Great Fun

Last night was a lot of fun. It's great to be able to relax and enjoy time together. While it doesn't always have to be explicitly about faith and changing the world, the process of building a community of faithful world changers includes times like last night. As soon as Mike sorts through your responses we'll post the topic for this Sunday's discussion. I'm hoping it'll be a topic you feel comfortable inviting people to join. Any comments about last night can be shared here and be sure to remind friends to visit the blog!

I'd like to hear about last night. What did you do? What did you learn? Who all came?

We ended up with about 13 of us and it was game night. We started with a rousing game of "Cops & Robbers" - which was basically boys against the girls running around downtown Loveland. We finished with a great game of "Mafia" sitting in a circle on the lawn at the library park. It was so much fun and starting with ice cream at the Sweet Spot made it that much better. Everyone else should share their experience of last night.

Sunday nights have become a great part of my routine! Even though out group is still small, I'm so glad we're growing in eachother. It was really fun to just sit and play games and get to know people that much better.

I'm so excited to hear about what we might be talking about next week. I know I have missed those one on one discussions about the Lord. I can't wait!

Anyways, I guess that's all I really had to say, but I'll probably be on same time tomorrow, writing again. lol. Jenn needs to get a life.

Greetings!

Last Sunday was a blast!

After reading your responses for upcoming discussions our Sunday, May 4th topic will be...

"Feeling Separated from God?"

Have you felt this way?
What was is like? What helped
change this feeling? Why?...
Guilt? the Enemy? Lazy? Sin?
Bored? Content? Friends?
Busy? or
Distracted?...

Our discussions will be centered around why we sometimes feel separated from God as well as what has brought us back to feeling whole and close to God...

I know I have felt this way many many times and look forward to hearing your thoughts and stories on this subject!

Grace & Peace,

Mike -
